The manual assisted driving system is a train vehicle positioning detection, fixed speed limit and variable speed limit detection system based on RFID wireless communication technology. The system realizes this function through the transmission of RFID wireless signals between the on-track passive beacons, variable beacons and the on-board reader. The control gateway processes the beacon messages collected and outputs them to the on-board TCMS and the driving system. The driver controls the vehicle through the HMI on the driver's console, either taking the next control operation manually or automatically taking further control measures by the TCMS system.
This system employs UHF (Ultra High Frequency) technology and can achieve functions such as train positioning, fixed speed limit control for vehicles, fixed and variable speed limit control, and manual section division during manual driving mode.
The manual assisted driving system consists of an on-board beacon host, a control gateway and a trackside beacon device.
The passive beacon is made by integrating injection molding of composite materials. Its protection level reaches IP68. It does not require power supply. By writing different messages, it can define different physical locations and different line sections (acceleration section/limited speed section/braking section).
Variable beacon: It is made by integrating composite materials through injection molding, with a protection level reaching IP67. It does not require power supply. It can change the input node status through on-site control devices (such as turnout controllers, auxiliary output contacts of switch machines, etc.), and when the node status is different, the beacon will convert and output messages to achieve different control.
Vehicle positioning: By comparing the passive beacon and variable beacon messages read by the on-board reader with the electronic map built into the control gateway, the physical location of the vehicle is identified and located.
Switch status monitoring: The switch status is monitored through variable beacons. When there is a fault in the switch position (such as improper conversion, etc.), the switch quantity changes, and at the same time, the output of the variable beacon also changes, alerting the train to perform a safe braking.
Prevent Over-speeding: The variable beacon is installed near the signal machine. The input interface of the variable beacon is connected to the output of the turnout controller. When the turnout is successfully converted, the variable beacon also undergoes status and message conversion according to the output of the turnout controller. If the message read by the vehicle does not match the preset state of the turnout, it will prompt the train to apply anti-over-speed braking.
Speed limit section division: The system uses passive beacons to distinguish different speed sections. When the train reads different beacon messages, it enters different speed limit sections. Some temporary speed limits can be converted through variable beacons and then manually confirmed with the speed value.
Using ultra-high frequency RFID technology, the reading speed is fast and the reliability is high.
The antenna power is adjustable, and the reading range can be flexibly selected according to the characteristics of the project.
The on-track beacon has a high protection level: IP67/68
The host can be equipped with multiple antennas to achieve redundant reading.
High positioning accuracy;
Rich communication interfaces;
Meet the requirements of the rail transit standards;
The control gateway has high reliability and powerful functions.
It can automatically record work logs and fault logs.
The backend is highly functional.
Optional anti-collision ultrasonic radar and other products are safer.
